Primo Piazza, Khao Yai. The kids loved it!

I believe the Primo Piazza is one of the places which the family enjoyed during our trip to Khao Yai, Thailand

Inspired by the 1500s Roman architecture, this little Tuscan village is covered by clobbered streets and surrounded by terracotta-toned buildings, pretty little things that are very Instagrammable.

As we went in June, the weather was scorching hot but the photos turned out really bright. If you want to more Italian feel, I suggest visiting Khao Yai at the end of the year. It is definitely more cooling then.

Bringing with us 6 kids, our main intent is to go interact with the animals living in the barn.

Dashing for the barn.

Sheeps and Alcapas

We get up close with these adorable Australian animals. Merino sheep, donkeys and alpacas which resemble a wholly Ilama, the kids get to feed the animals to their heart’s content. Just show the staff your ticket stub, and you will be presented with a big bunch of grass for feeding.

And unlike us adults, they ain’t afraid of the animals at all!

Fun facts on Alpacas

Alpacas originated in South America, and are found mainly in Peru but also Bolivia and Chile. Belonging to the camel family, people often confuse them with Ilamas. The latter is way bigger in terms of size.

The Alpacas was introduced into Australia in the 1800s but were not successful. In the late 1980s, the reintroduction was met with success and the Australian Alpaca alpaca fleece industry began to flourish. Its fleece is well known and regarded for its thermal properties, yet softer and lighter to wear.

Not to missed. Many rounds of ice-cream after the feeding and running around the premise. The place is big with lots of staircases. The kids went a little crazy fooling around.

And for those who love photography, there are lovely spots of beautiful corners for your photo-taking opportunity.
