Dinner at Georges @ the Cove after Pasir Ris Park playground

There seems to be some interest in the beach club that I mentioned in my Pasir Ris Playground post. So here I am with some descriptions and photos of the bistro to share with those who are interested.

Check out my latest post Georges @ The Cove here: Do you Love Beach Side Dining? Go Georges @ The Cove (Pasir Ris)

georges @ the cove

Many of Georges’ outlets located beside the waters and its very first eating outlet was actually started right here in the Pasir Ris beach.

We like to visit Georges once in a while after our session of play in the park. The beautiful evening by the sea makes the already delicious food more tantalizing than ever.

We visited the place just a couple of days ago and I decided to share some of our experience.

However, with just 2 adults and 4 little kids, I have to apologize for our lack of variety. I will update our photos as and when we revisit the place.

PS, we don’t eat out often, so don’t hold me to it!

Nacho Cheese for Starter

Everyone loves to snack on this, but I find this starter a little pricey.

Beer Battered Fish and Chips

This is one of the restaurant’s recommended dish. Although the portion is huge for me, I managed to finish the entire plate of fish and chips. I am not a huge fan of fish and chips coz many of the dishes I experienced in various restaurants were heavy and oily. George’s fish and chips were crispy and the flesh was chunk yet light. I didn’t even need to add malt vinegar or chill sauce.

Kids Meal – Fish and Chips again

Ah…. Sorry but all my kids love eating fish and chips. I find the kid’s size portion very generous too. And see how much my little daughter enjoyed her meal.

Chicken Burger

My helper loves her chicken burger too.

A Beautiful Evening to Relax in

Updates In February 2109

We ordered fish fingers for the toddlers. The restuarant’s fish and chips as well as fish fingers never fail us.

Beef Horfun with Gravy is superb! The dish is very fragrant with a hint of charred aroma on the beef. We subsequently ordered the dry horfun to try out too, but still preferred the one with gravy.

Clams ala Vino below. It was delicious but I find it a little pricey.

The meat on the ribs were tender and we ordered it for two to share. But we found the portion a bit too small.

The meat platter below was disappointing as the ribs turned out too dry and the portion is just sufficient for two person.

On a weekend evening, you need reservations to ensure a table. So do plan in advance before you go.
