Sharing the entire set of Primary 3 Chinese Flashcards that I have created for my children to improve their learning efficiency. These words are pulled out from their Chinese textbooks.

Instead of flipping through their textbooks for revision, I find using flashcards a more efficient and focused way to get the kids to remember their vocabulary.

How We Use the Primary 3 Chinese Flashcards

For our revision purpose, I would typically pull out a chapter of the cards and flash out one by one to the child to test her ability to recognize and understand the words.

For those words that she cannot remember nor understand the meaning, I will read out the words, explain the meaning and set them aside. We will repeat the same process for these characters until she can read them aloud and explain the meaning independently.

These flashcards come without hanyu pinyin as I find the presence of hanyu pinyin distracts the children from memorising the words effectively. You can write in the hanyu pinyin behind the cards if you like.

The syllabus requires the kids to be able to write the words printed in red, whereas those in black need to be able to recognize and use them appropriately.

Laminate these cards for durability.
