The June holiday has come to an end. I decided to bring the children to the Mega Fun at Sentosa for their last holiday program.

Some other activities we did this June:

A trip to the amazing Resorts World S.E.A. Aquarium, Singapore

We explored the Maritime Experiential Museum in Sentosa

We saw dinosaur fossils in the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum

A trip to the River Safari and the Singapore Zoo – our dino hunt continues

From 8 to 25 June 2017, the Palawan Beach in Sentosa held a series of programs from a mega ball pool and movies by the beach to spectacular light shows. For us the hyperactive ones, we went straight for the outdoor fun.

The entrance of the Mega Fun at Sentosa is right outside the Beach Station, which is actually Sentosa’s  Transport Hub that comprises the Sentosa Express, the intra-island shuttle bus interchange, tram stops, taxi stop and a large basement car park that can hold up to a few hundred cars.

Palawan Pirate Ship

We started off with Palawan Beach’s iconic Pirate Ship play area. The children had great fun running around the gushing fountains, slides and a pirate-head which sends a huge bucket of water down.

This is a permanent facility on Palawan Beach with bathing facilities just next door. There is also a baby care area that is completed with a nursing room, changing station and water (hot/cold) dispenser. Parents can get to rest their legs in a decent coffee place or on benches, both adjacent to the playground.

The Inflatables …

Ultimate slide – My children tried the slides twice and moved on to the next station. According to my 6 years old girl, the slide is too high for her.

For my children, they simply preferred to just laze around the beach and bond with their daddy in the waters.

Look out for your little ones if they like to play in the water. The water current is pretty strong.

Admission is free. But we had to pay $3 for driving into Sentosa and another $5 for the carpark.

Tips: Other than toiletries, bring along some snacks and milk to fill up the children’s tummy. They will certainly feel hungry after a day’s fun.

See my improved photo quality? I have finally updated my mobile phone! These photos are taken using a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

P/S: I am starting a collection of posts on playgrounds in Singapore which we like. This is the first post. Blogging is getting more fun!
